About Us

GKD and Associates started in 1999 in the State of New Jersey as a one man

handyman business known then as GK Davis The Handyman. As the demand for

services grew, the company hired on contractors to assist in getting the work done

in a timely fashion. Commercial contracts included office buildings, medical centers,

and hospitals. Industrial contracts included R&D facilities and warehouses. Our

work scope has spanned minor home repairs in the private sector to industrial

decommissions.

In 2005, GK Davis The Handyman, moved to Southern California, which was

home to the owner, in order to be closer to family. For the next few years, the

company focussed on commercial work for a large food distribution company out

of Nebraska, traveling around the country where ever their services were needed.

In 2008, the company became incorporated and changed their name to GKD and

Associates. The President of the company, Jim Davis, is a fully licensed, bonded

and insured General Contractor who looks forward to meeting the service needs of the

private, corporate and industrial sectors of Southern California.
